When Competitors Couldn’t Get the Job Done, They Went to Bat for Us
“Last year, our home was subject to the fires. Our block backs up to Foothill park and was on the news. As a result, we had horrible smoke damage. Service Master was sent out by our insurance company. They did come out promptly, but were only here with a crew of 8, from 9-4, for one day. After they left, our home still smelled like smoke, we could still see soot, etc… we were not pleased. We had one heck of a time getting an accurate job description of what cleaning Service Master had performed.
After seeing our neighbors have Redwood Restoration company come out and spend 4-5 days from 9am-4pm, cleaning their homes, and rave about their service, we questioned our service from Service Master even further, with no luck!
I then contacted Redwood Restoration. Kurt from Redwood Restoration called me immediately, and met with me. I explained the situation and he tested my home right then and found that our home needed cleaning, we could smell it! Kurt went to bat for us with our insurance company and we got approval for Redwood Restoration to clean our home. They were here 5 days from 9am to 3:30pm, and did a spectacular job! I highly recommend them!!!!!”

“We found ourselves victims of the storm in Northern CA a couple days ago when our basement started flooding. All of a sudden we had water gushing in at a rate we could barely keep up with. We just bought new living room furniture (our basement is our living room) and were desperately trying to keep the water at bay.
One of our close friends knows Kurt from way back and gave him a call to see if he could come help us. Within 20 minutes he was at our front door with his equipment and had it set up quickly. I almost cried tears of joy! He knew exactly what to do and has since made another visit to help air our the carpets a bit more as well as the steps which have wood underneath the carpets. I couldn’t praise his company and his team more for their promptness, professionalism and kindness.”

Easily Earned 10 Stars for Black Mold Remediation Services
“Redwood Restoration easily earned 10 Stars! We had black mold from rainwater damage that our insurance did not cover (beware of a rainwater exclusion in the small print). Tom Hoover was easily the most thorough in his inspection to give us a bid; he shared his knowledge and observations, and just seemed to have a lot of integrity.
His was not the lowest bid, but he worked with our budget, going out of his way with his team to not only remove the mold and fix the damage, but also to communicate along the way, check in, help with some extra work not in the original bid for no extra charge, and generally hold our hand throughout what could have been a worse ordeal. We always felt that he and his team cared about us and fixing our problem; they consistently took time to answer questions, explain, and check in with us.
They took photos along the way of our mold and their progress, and shared them with us. We also appreciated that they not only did the mold abatement, but the rebuilding, too. Tom recommended a roofer (none of the restoration people we talked to did their roofing ( it is more specialized), and meanwhile his team gave us a temporary patch good for a month or 2. AND they finished one day ahead of schedule!
His Redwood Restoration team members are extremely professional, combined with reasonable, caring, honest and attentive to detail. Tom never made us feel that our questions were wasting his time — we felt 100% seen as real people with a job that needed doing, not some dollar signs that a big company wanted to rake in. I would 150% recommend Redwood Restoration without reservation!”

“I honestly can’t say enough positives about Kurt and his crew. I had an unfortunate event with a burst water main that flooded under my house, not the most pleasant crawl space either… my home was built in the 50’s so use your imagination. The crew came out at my convenience, very professional, kind and took their time explaining every detail.
