Our Mold Remediation Procedures
Redwood Restoration provides a full-scale mold remediation and cleaning of your structure and its contents.
Our first task is to isolate areas of contamination by walling off the areas with heavy plastic during the removal processes. We provide installation of containment with negative air pressure.
Our next step is to remove and dispose of all non-recoverable items, such as rotten wood and mold infested carpeting and rugs that cannot be cleaned sufficiently. We will remove and store all contents that are not damaged or can be cleaned and repaired.
We use dry brushing techniques, wet vacuums, and powerful HEPA air scrubbers to capture and remove mold spores from the home. HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filtration removes 99.97% of all mold spores. We work directly with hygienists to ensure microbial growth is removed properly.
We follow all removal by cleaning and sanitizing with antimicrobial products. This helps prevent further growth in the areas treated. Our specialists follow the IICRC S520 guidelines (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) to ensure a complete and professional full mold remediation process.
